My Story

After a shoulder repair surgery back in 2014, I looked into the mirror one day and realised the damage I'd done to my body in the form of excessive eating and a total disregard for exercise. That was when I decided it was time to make a change. However, not knowing the concepts of proper nutrition and exercise , I believed I was doing things right. It was only when I stepped onto the stage at age 18, doing crash diets and focusing on high reps and lightweight and not being able to function most of the time, that I realised just how wrong I've been doing things. I knew I had to make a change. And so I began to educate myself more by conducting my own research on various scientific concepts regarding the sport, as well as undergoing the ACE certification course. In 2019, however, I suffered a relapse injury on my shoulder and had to go under the knife a second time. After a gruesome 6 months of rehabilitation, I finally rejoined the gym, putting into play my newfound knowledge, and finally began to see the results I was looking for. The lesson? Never give up, no matter how many obstacles you may face along your journey. Of course, I had the help of some great coaches. And that's why I know now more than ever, how important having a good personal trainer is in achieving your desired fitness goals.
